I know what it feels like to build a successful life and still wonder whether it’s the one you actually want.
Living by default can be deceptively comfortable because nothing looks obviously wrong. You keep showing up, doing what’s expected, earning the money, taking care of the people around you, and telling yourself that someday you’ll make more room for the things that actually make you feel alive.
For me, things began to change when I stopped building my life around what was expected of me and started getting intentional about what mattered most.
Today, I make room to hike miles through the mountains, spend meaningful time with family and friends, travel, reconnect with nature, and create experiences I know I’ll remember long after the stuff is gone.
I still work hard. But the work feels different now. It has purpose. It is meaningful. And it fits the life I want to live.
I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to define what that looks like for themselves.
After working with hundreds of people who are trying to figure out what comes next, I’ve learned that the hardest part usually isn’t finding another opportunity.
It’s getting honest about what you really want.
It’s facing the fear that comes with choosing differently.
And it’s challenging all the reasons you’ve collected for why you should stay exactly where you are.
That’s why this work means so much to me.
After more than 25 years building a career inside someone else’s definition of success, I now get to help people step back, explore what is possible, and take greater ownership of what comes next.
Today, I get to help people build a life and career that feel like their own. That is work worth waking up for.
